New Appointment - MPFC Head Coach Advisor

I would like to introduce Andrew Monterosso as our Community Head Coach Advisor.

Andrew who also known as aka ‘Rusty’ will be working closely with all Coaches within our Miniroos and Junior League programs assisting with training sessions, providing guidance & answering questions etc.

Andrew has both an impressive playing and Coaching career/background.  Andrew has been at the club in the capacity as a player and a Coach since the age of 16. Andrew played in the NSW State League Championship in 1984 which was then promoted to the National League (now known as the A league) in 1985, he then went on to coach our Senior Men's team in 1999 who won the grand final. In 2020 & 2021, Andrew coached our NPL/CPL u13s boys teams who went on to win the minor premiership.

Andrew is the head coach of the Junior Academy for Australian Elite Football Academy (AEFA) which runs each Wednesday evening at David Madew Ovals in Jerrabomberra and he is also working with (AEFA) as a Coach in the CPL/NPL program on Monday evenings at the AIS to provide additional training to enhance players development and technical skills.

Each Saturday Andrew will be walking the grounds at MPFC so if you have any questions or would like to have a chat, please feel free to say hi and pull him up as he is always available.
